Route Ribaritsa village - Benkov...

The starting point of the route is in the neighborhood Kostina of the village Ribaritza ( Republic municipality , province Lovech) , in place of which Kostina River flows into Vit . The transition will high level of difficulty , suitable for groups with young children or inexperienced hikers and lasts about 4 hours.

Go against the river Kostina wherever an asphalt road . After approximately 3 km to reach Kostina representing elongated mountain meadow on which descend the wooded slopes of the hills Great Climate and Gabrovo Crush . At the bottom of the grassy surface are the monument of George Benkovski and stone bridge . Near the base of the bridge is Bloody well where on May 25, 1876 was killed in an ambush commander of Flying Band Benkovski .

The route continues south , following the road , climbing up the river . The route passes by the place where in Kostina infused Pork River crosses a small nursery , surrounded by forest huts and reaches confluence of Flat River and deep gully forming Kostina . Slightly above the asphalt road crosses the Flat River and the route is removed from it, and continues along a marked trail following the right bank .

Along the smooth ascent cross ravines into three streams , which are the right tributaries of Flat River . Then the path deviates from its bed and climbs the steep slope covered with dense beech and spruce forest , describing the coils on it. About half an hour later, the route reaches the area of ​​King's Rest , named after the rock overhanging the valley visor.

From the slope becomes much more gentle and streamers , on which path you - smoother and easier to climb. The route crosses two streams and enters the forest , and then goes through an extensive sloping meadow at the foot of the peaks Large and Small Bratanishki ears. At the lower end is hut " Benkovsky" .

It was built at 1540 meters above sea level and is a two-storey building with 60 seats . Water, electricity and heated with solid fuel stoves , the cabin offers all the necessary amenities for tourists.
