This is a peak in the RILA mountainhigh, 2730 m, located in northwestern Rila Mountain. It is built almost entirely of granite. Rising between the valleys of Malyovishka river and Urdina river. In the North and the eastern slope of the Malyovitsa are Maliovitsa Lakes. The north slope of Maliovitsa is almost sheer cliff, a favourite place of mountaineers. The southern slope is gentle, easily accessible, is busy from pasture-suitable route for tourists who love the easiest routes.

Malyovitsa Peak climbs the easier path of govedartsi-hence there is an asphalt road to the Central Mountain School, which takes to hut "Maliovitsa" (approximately 2000 m). Maliovitsa Hut is a complex of two buildings the old building is now being repaired and not functioning. The new hut is a massive two-storey building with a capacity of 70 places, there is a buffet and cafe-bar. In the hut offer sheets and blankets, but it is advisable to carry your sleeping bags. Room rates at new hut is 14 euro for the summer season.
