Damga ( Damka ) known as Vazov peak is located in northwestern Rila. The peak is at an altitude of 2 669.5 m is 1 hour's walk east of Ivan Vazov hut and 4 hours walk south of the Seven Rila Lakes Hut . Damga dominates the western parts of Urdina circus where slopes are steep and rocky . West slopes of the peak down to the grassy plateau folds small and large Pazardere . The tip connects Pazarderenskiya and Otovishki ridge. Passes through the main watershed of the Balkan Peninsula.

It is assumed that the name of the peak is related to the branding of sheep that has happened in recent Pazardere . In Vazov peak passes the path to the red marking on the circus of the seven lakes Maliovitsa .

Damga peak known as Mount Vazov , central peak is located on the main ridge of the Rila mountain saddle between tabs and Dodoff peak. Along with last surrounds the south valley Urdina River . From this apex green hill surrounding Urdina River from the west. From the top of the southwest side ridge deviates of potassium.

Northeastern slopes of the summit descend steeply to Urdina circus , giving alpine look of the top. It is part of the winter sleepers and e popular practice of ski mountaineering in this part of the mountain.

Damga is the highest peak in northwestern Rila. It overlooks the river and Urdina circus Pazardere and has steep slopes . From the slopes of Damga spring Eleshnitsa Urdina and other rivers. The name comes from the top border stone ( damga ) of the then monastic lands . And according to another legend , next became cattle market and marks goods sold .

Damga peak is easy to climb by tourists from the north and west. Nearby are Ivan Vazov hut and hut Seven Lakes .
