Ecopath Ravninata Village

Ecopath " Village Ravninata " long little more than 5 km. The starting point is located on the road from Rudozem to the village , about 7 km away. As to the starting point can be reached by road, it is easily accessible as well as hikers and for those with any kind of vehicle .

At the very beginning of the trail is built parking is developed recreation area with gazebo, fireplace , toilet and sink . Other places to rest along the eco-trail are located near Mount St. Mary at the end of the village plane , which coincides with the route. There are fitted wooden benches and tables , and the finish of the transition , at the foot of Mount St. Todor , there is a cozy alcove .

Like many magical places in Rhodope, and the route of the trail " Village Ravninata " is filled with lots of historicism , rich flora , fauna and enjoys a stunning location . The peaks Virgin Mary and St. Todor are beautiful panoramic views of the southern Rhodope Mountains . In good weather (whatever it is advisable to choose if you get the route ) to see the TV tower on Mount Snow , Rozhen Observatory and stretches as if endlessly mountain ridges separated by deep river valleys.

And the two peaks are remains of medieval Christian churches. They probably destroyed during the conquest of Bulgaria from the Ottoman Empire. Another interesting stop on the path is an ostrich farm , where visitors can see and where able to buy eggs of exotic birds.

Along the route there is no steep climbs and dangerous places . This makes it suitable for eco-trail is not very well prepared travelers and for groups with children and adults mountaineers . Sometimes the starting point of the track used plain edge of the village , where the trail goes . So the transition is reduced even more.
