Ecopath " Cote d'Azur " is one of three routes , united from Nessebar Municipality in the " Majestic mountain , azure coast and rich history " to familiarize visitors with an impressive variety of natural, cultural and historical resources that are specific to the area. Vicinity of Nessebar is characterized by a combination of mountainous terrain (at the southeastern edge of Stara Planina reach the seafront ) and typical marine climatic conditions .
The area has been inhabited since ancient times and has many traces left by the people who lived here . For this reason, the administration of the maritime community has created three separate routes , each of which represents a particular aspect of the beauty and heritage of Nessebar , but that in combination with others , it becomes an inseparable whole .
The length of the trail , " Cote d'Azur " is approximately 4.5 km and the time to cover the distance it is 2-3 hours , depending on the goals they had set the tourists and their fitness . The route starts at the town of Sveti Vlas, passes through mouflon and horseshoe tap Kanelski Borun , artificial pine forest and out to the pumping station . Hence the route back to the starting point . All along the transition tourists can enjoy the beautiful view to the overall view of the Bay of Nessebar - seeing is the city itself , the villages Tunkovo and Ravda, cities Pomorie , Aheloi, Kableshkovo, villages Alexandrovo, Medovo ( Pomorie municipality ) and the Strandja Mountain protected area " Kalina" .
Protected area " Kalina" is declared to store the dense forest that grows in it and has become home to an incredible variety of flora. Here grow old trees ( ash , oak and elm ) , numerous shrub and herbaceous species, other ornamental plants and herbs. In the " Kalina " grow summer snowflake , emblematic of Bulgaria and the fight against polio plant species , as well as four other plants included in the "Red Book " of endangered species in the country.
Eco is extremely easy to navigate. Her layout features steep or difficult sections , it fully meets its aim - to inform, excite and unload tourists and integrating them into the nature loving . Plenty of beautiful scenery, varied terrain and low difficulty making the transition ecotrail suitable for literally everyone - you do not need to have hikers , and just want to have fun outdoors. The route is fully accessible for young children and elderly tourists.
