Kamenitsa Hut

Hut " Kamenica " is located at 1750 m altitude in the Pirin Mountains on the left bank of the river " Kozya" They are a massive three-storey building with an attic floor. The capacity of the hut is 90 seats . Accommodation is in dormitory rooms and one suite. Rooms are with two, four , seven and eight beds. Bathrooms are shared by floor. In the summer there are conditions for a further 30 seats in the tents. The chalet has parking . Camping sites are indicated . Hut " Kamenica " is water and electricity , heated by solid fuel stoves . The ground floor of the hut " Kamenica " has a fully equipped kitchen and the dining room and the first floor has a restaurant that is open year round . The tourists have TV , ski - equipment, a playground area and ski slopes with three ski lifts . Starting point for the Hut " Kamenica " is Sandanski. The hut can be reached by a 29 km . means, by which the 21 km . area to "Popina Laka " are paved . During the summer weekends are organized transport from Sandanski to "Popina Luka " and from there to the hut " Kamenitsa " is enough for 2 hours along marked trails.
