Chernopolyanski lakes

Chernopolyanski lakes called also Karaalanishki lakes are located in the Rila Mountains , north of the town of Belica and northwest of the resort Semkovo . They are of glacial origin and were formed in Chernopolyanski circus south of Rock Peak ( 2691 m ) and to the southeast of Mount Black Meadow ( 2716 m.) There are four lakes , two of them are very small . Located terrace one under another . The largest is located at 2,193 meters above sea level and covers an area of 5.1 hectares. Characterized by oval form. While the other has a size of 2.2 acres and resembles an ellipse .
