Buzludja monument is situated on the eponymous peak, in the heart of natural park "Bulgarka" in the Central Balkan Mountains. Located on 1441 m altitude, 20 km north of Kazanlak. Exactly it took a battle between the detachment of Hadji Dimitar and Turkish troops. In honor of this battle, where the rebels were defeated, Hristo Botev wrote the poem "Hadji Dimitar". Travelling along the road Ruse-Stara Zagora, just after Kazanlak , a side road leading to the monument Buzludja. Next time, we can get there, starting from Shipka.
In the area of peak Buzludja a small but well maintained ski slope with ski lift and snow cannons. Ski bar offers refreshing drinks and relax after a long and fun day on the track. Several family hotels and a cozy lodge offers excellent conditions for rest and recreation in the area. The road to the ski area is paved and well maintained during the winter season.
Overall the place is excellent for beginners, but Buzdludzha can be made and other exciting things. The area is ideal for nature walks. Panoramic view from the top of the building is fascinating. Eyes revealed magic valley traiyskite kings and ancient tombs, and in the distance, son dam Koprinka at the bottom lie the remains of the Thracian town Seuthopolis. Next to rise majestically and Shipka monument built in honor of those who perished in the Russo-Turkish War of Liberation.
