Buzludja

Buzludja monument is situated on the eponymous peak, in the heart of natural park "Bulgarka" in the Central Balkan Mountains. Located on 1441 m altitude, 20 km north of Kazanlak. Exactly it took a battle between the detachment of Hadji Dimitar and Turkish troops. In honor of this battle, where the rebels were defeated, Hristo Botev wrote the poem "Hadji Dimitar". Overall the place is excellent for beginners, but Buzdludzha can be made and other exciting things. The area is ideal for nature walks. Panoramic view from the top of the building is fascinating.
