Shipka

Camping "Shipka" is located at the foot of the homonymous peak at 1326 meters altitude. It is located within the National Park museum "Shipka - Buzludza." Unlike most campgrounds in Bulgaria, "Shipka" offers great conditions for its guests excellent stay in all seasons.

In winter you can practice a whole range of winter sports, and in the warm part of the year have the opportunity to take tours in one of the most beautiful areas of the Balkan Mountains, as the campsite is starting, intermediate or end point of many routes. Furthermore, the complex is a huge attraction for the great historical and sentimental value that gives the Shipka epic.

Cool summers and relatively mild winters with lots of sunshine and the longest ski season (December to April month), the purity of nature and the incredible variety of flora and fauna in the region are also important factors that attract many tourists in the campsite. Shipka Monument (1326 m altitude), one of the symbols of Bulgaria, is located only twenty minutes walk transition. Nearby are the Monument on Peak Buzludza (1441 m), Gabrovo, architectural and ethnographic complex "Etara" and Sokolski monastery "Assumption". To each of the landmarks lead well developed, short and light hiking routes.

Camping "Shipka" has ten bungalows, each of which has two beds. Eight of the bungalows have private bathrooms. The complex offers its guests free parking and a barbecue area, and their disposal is also an excellent restaurant where you can try a variety of dishes, including traditional Bulgarian dishes. Prices in camp are more than affordable - accommodation cost ten-fifteen lev per person.
