At the end of the XVIII century in Sliven district "Klutsohor" built like Asenovi house where the 10 May 1840 born big rebel - legendary leader Hadji Dimitar.

Here in 1935 opened the first museum which in 1955 grew into exposure.

Birthplace of the revolutionary is a small one-storey house with asymmetrical wooden porch, the architectural features of the early Renaissance. Today the house is located in a beautiful landscaped garden.

Fully restored traditional decor in the room where he was born Hadji Dimitar, living room, and the typical Sliven winery. In the museum complex is included the Inn Haji Nicolas Asenov with adjacent outbuildings where recreated environment typical Inn.

The second floor presents an extensive exposure of Hadji Dimitar and Stefan Karadja, who in 1868 lead a band of rebels to raise the people uprising against the Ottomans. In this rebellion they give their lives for the freedom of Bulgaria. The exhibition is a modern, contemporary solution, which includes photographs, household items, weapons, accurate reconstruction of the militia uniform, a copy of the flag of detachment Stefan Karadja.

The house is offered a guided tour and talk, and in the kiosk at the entrance to sell informational materials and souvenirs. There are also audio lectures in English.
