The starting point of the route is a gallery "May" ( "Tsar Liberator " 1) - Sliven where young artists exhibit their works. Revealed are two permanent exhibitions - "Christian art" and " Contemporary Bulgarian Art " . From the gallery , we head to the museum house of Hadji Dimitar, located in the old quarter " Klutsohor " (street " Assen " 2 ) . It is a complex of two buildings - the house and inn located in neighboring yards.

The next stop on the route is the church "St. Nicholas " in proximity (street " Moscow " 17). Built on an older church in 1834 , it impresses with its carvings , frescoes and icons . Another site to visit is the house of Dr. Mirkovic - Renaissance monument of national importance . It houses a permanent exhibition " Old Sliven ." Hence , we head to the Museum of Textile Industry (street 'stays leader "3 ) . His two permanent exhibitions introduce us hand and factory processing textiles.

Nearby is the church "Virgin Mary" (street " Saints Cyril and Methodius" 19) , located in Delibalta - one of the oldest neighborhoods of Sliven. Impressed by the architecture and the iconostasis of the master of the Tryavna carving school . Nearby (street " Simeon Tabakov " 5 ) is another attraction - museum house "Sliven bit " presenting two exhibitions in the daily lives of the rich wealthy Sliven during the Renaissance and the changes that occur as a result of increased Western influence after the Liberation.

From raiding Sliven beauty continues to house a museum of Dobri Chintulov (1822 - 1886) , located in an old neighborhood in the north end of town (street "Mesta" 5). Then head to the Art Gallery "Dimitar Dobrovich" hosted exhibition where you can see works by Renoir, Picasso and Kandinsky . Nearby ( "Tsar Liberator" 18) is the building of the Historical Museum, built by Tryavna master Nikola Ganchev . In its several rooms houses many artifacts , the majority of which related to the revolutionary history of the Renaissance and the development of the textile industry.

The walk continues to the old elm - tree 1100 years ago, declared the European tree in 2014 . It is inextricably linked to our Renaissance history. Here the route takes us to the monument of Hadji Dimitar, located on the eponymous square. The monument represents the great revolutionary full-length , and at its foot are depicted the most notable personalities born in Sliven.

The finale of the tour is the church "St. Dimitar " the same square . It was built in 1831 on the site of an old temple . The route is quite long and includes many sights, so you need to devote at least one day .
