The starting point of this tourist route is the tourist information center, located in the Municipality of Sliven. The first stop on the route is the church "Virgin Mary " in the city of a hundred chieftains declared a cultural monument. It was built in 1894 in Delibalta - one of six central neighborhoods that make up the central part of Sliven. Temple creates a very warm and serene atmosphere , as it is built of travertine stone and Astracantha . Contributes to this impression iconostasis , which was probably the work of Papavitanovi Yoanikiy , a famous master of his time carving school of icon .
Here the route takes us to the village located in the locality medieval fountain Todorov spring . According to popular legend, the water that flows from the spring , has the power to cure diseases and to rejuvenate . Near it was situated the church "St. Todor ," whose remains have been preserved to XIX century. In this place of Todorov day( Horse Easter) staged a horse race . Currently near the holy spring is a gazebo that is a good place for a short break in the route.
The transition continues to located about 2 km from Sliven gradishte marine artists representing Byzantine fortress of VI-VII century. It is built on a strategic level Gagovets marking the watershed between rivers Novoselska and Selishka . The route follows the picturesque gorge of the river Novoselska that offers plenty of views with which every true lover of nature would be speechless . In the past, under the shadows of the great oaks , walnuts and Nails were built almost 40 mills , more than 30 bars and 2 mills . Currently still working twenty bars and fulling .
Only about half a kilometer after the last " cupboard " along the river Novoselska the territory of the reserve " Kutelka " (declared in 1983 to protect formations Misian oak habitats of rare birds) , is the place Blue Pool . Although the waterfall in there drop of just 4 meters , the view of crashing into the rocks and water pool at its foot is really impressive .
The route continues to the marsh area , again located in the upper reaches of the river Novoselska . It is remarkable for its many mountain springs , which is why in the past bore the name Kirk Cain ( forty springs) . Very picturesque with lush river which crosses forming pools and waterfalls , it is nestled between the rugged peaks of the Sliven Balkan.
The route takes us to the iconic Sliven Tuida castle tucked away in the foothills of the rounded hill Hisarlaka . Established in IV century , it is one of the most flourishing settlements south of the Balkan Mountains on the eve of the Second Bulgarian Empire .
The tour ends at the medieval church "St. Sofia" , restored in the first half of the XIX century, located in " New Village" neighborhood .
