Ivan Vazov National Theatre

The theater does not have its own parking. The nearest paid parking is opposite the National Art Gallery, and the area behind the theater and surrounding streets in Sofia Road Blue Area. Snacks and drinks you can buy and eat in outer lobby of the theater before the show and during intermission, if any. Cards, calendars, books, posters and more. Library of the National Theatre "Ivan Vazov" is housed on IV floor in the administrative part of the building of the theater. Museum of National Theatre "Ivan Vazov" is housed in the V floor of the administrative building of the theater.

It is open from Tuesday to Friday: morning from 9.00 to 12.30 and afternoon from 14.00 to 16.30.

The history of theater is rich, interesting contrasts in their ups and crises, but always firmly linked to the essential changes and trends in the national culture and art. In its more than 100 years of history National Theatre "Ivan Vazov" has established itself not only as the first theater in Bulgaria, but as alive and actively looking for major operational theater, filled with awareness of its important mission of the National Cultural Institute .
