The building, which sits Forty-first National Assembly, is of historic significance and is a monument of culture. It was built in 1884 - 1886 on the project of arch. Konstantin Jovanovic - Vienna and Switzerland alumnus, author and design of the Serbian assembly (1891 - 1892 г.). The building was built in neorenesanse style interior is refurbished repeatedly, but its appearance is preserved. Parliament building occupies a central position in the composition of the Square to the National Assembly. Gable of the motto "unity is strength," part of the national coat of arms of Bulgaria. The building is historic, architectural and artistic monument of national importance. She is a candidate for a symbol of the city. Since 1991 the National Assembly has another building - a building on the square "Alexander I" 1.
Press and Public Relations arrange educational visits for students in the parliament building. They have the opportunity to learn about the history and activities of the National Assembly to consider the Chamber to meet with MPs and experts from the committees with which to talk of them requested topics.

Organized visits to the parliament building during the plenary sessions are held in exceptional cases and according to the work program of the National Assembly.
Days for regular visits to the plenary sessions are:
• Monday from 10.00 to 16.00
• Tuesday from 10.00 to 16.00
• Wednesday from 15.00 to 16.00
• Thursday from 15.00 to 16.00
• Friday from 15.00 to 16.00
Children under the age of 16 are allowed in exceptional cases and only under adult supervision.
Requests should be made at least one week before the chosen date for the visit. The application, in view of the access regime in the National Assembly building is necessary to send a list of names and identity number of people wishing to visit the National Assembly. • Consideration of the National Assembly building;
• Lecture on the history and activities of the Bulgarian Parliament;
• Meeting with MPs and experts to the standing committees;
