Orlandovtsi monastery

Available to the citizens of Sofia Orthodox , history buffs and tourists in the metropolitan district " Orlandovtsi " is Orthodox monastery "St. Three Saints " . The three saints are spiritual fathers , to them can write notes with requests . They are patrons of new beginnings , of marriage and babies .

Today the monastery is active and is inhabited by students of the Seminary . Is a small one-storey houses and a small church . Church and tasteful flower garden maintained in immaculate condition .

According to historians , Orlandovskiyat monastery was built relatively recently - in the XIX century. There is an underlying assumption that the most likely at this point or close to it there was a monastery in the Middle Ages .

Dignified place for the monastery to serve God and the believers there are several legends. One of them tells the time of Ottoman rule, when the temple was destroyed and a pasha decided to build a homestead on the holy place . Misfortune befell and refugees from Kilkis , which happened to be settled in the same place . Inexplicably sons of refugees began to die . Unfortunate and hurled them away .

According to another story based on the pen , which is located near the house was built by the special blue and white stones. They , according to the local population, attracted elements , because very often on the top bolt fell . Strange and inexplicable events and troubles stopped once again been built there.
