Route Bosnek - Gorna Dikanya vil...

This route starts in the center of the Pernik village Bosnek located on the western slopes of Vitosha . It is a short ( 2h ) and with negative displacement ( 100 m ascent and 200 descent ) , making it suitable for family outings, groups with small children and mountaineers in not very good physical condition. The route offers an excellent opportunity to get acquainted with nature in one of the least visited areas of Vitosha Mountain - Klisurata gorge (also known as Suha ), which is the border between it and Golo Bardo mountain.

From here passed "shopping" road of Gorna Dikanya villagers that they used to go to Sofia. From the center of Bosnek goes south along "Bor", which takes us in the bed of the Struma at the end of the village. The river crosses the bridge and go on a wide dirt road, having bypassed the turnoff to the village Yarlovo (left). Skipping the next path that deviates left, surrounds Kosmatitsa hill and leads to a picturesque fountain with three spouts end that is suitable for your rest.

There is also a branch and should continue on the right path, but at the expense of that of the next intersection (after about 100 meters) lies to the left ( down) . Soon have a new path and go left again, the route now leads us to the fountain area of the river Klisurata. Consistently pass Kovachkite and Bikovi Egretsi by crossing the goal area, where there was only grow mixed forests.

After a few minutes you can reach the influx of the two streams and continue along the left bank of the river Klisurata . Two hundred meters further track onto a wide dirt road, climbing underneath upstream. In the area Shumeto it makes a sharp turn to the left valley slope. Continue along the valley, which here becomes narrow and wooded. The dirt road crosses the river several times and for half an hour brings us to the place where Klisurata merges with Dobri Dol . Here goes the old, now abandoned road from Samokov to Radomir, which currently can be used for trail. Departs on it right. The route leads to the villages of Gorna and Dolna Dikania . If you take the left hand, you will find yourself in the saddle Buka Preslap, which marks the southernmost point of Vitosha mountain and village Yarlovo . The end point of the route Gorna Dikanya village consists of six neighborhoods Partalina, Breskyeto, Klisurata, Dzhorgovitsa, Village and Martinova, that are tucked away at the foot of Vitosha, Verila and Golo Bardo.
