All along this route with two hours have a numbered stake marking that enables even inexperienced tourists to climb safely on the highest peak of Vitosha Black Peak ( 2290 m altitude ) . Displacement of the track is 566 meters , which is not very much, especially by the standards of this mountain.
Start from the entrance of the hut "Kumata" - one of the most visited of Vitosha; output , intermediate or end point of many routes. As already mentioned , it is the stake ( winter ) mark to Black Peak . Originally go south route as climbing a steep path . Soon they came to a small chapel, and then goes to the roadway connecting hut "Kumata" with the area Konyarnika . Briefly it lasts , but rather the stake marking depart and go down to the valley of the river Vladayska .
It is crossed by a wooden bridge. A short climb which again takes us on the road. Not long after we reach a small shack on the Mountain Rescue Service , which are built near the shelter and a stone fountain ( Konyarnika spacious plateau , 1850 meters above sea level) . Left ( southeast ) is the lower station of ski lifts "Konyarnika - Vetrovala".
The trail climbs steeply to the south, parallel to the ski lifts . To his right is low-growing coniferous forest. At 1977 meters above sea level to the upper station of the lifts . Hence the route follows the border of the reserve Torfeno branishte ( "Peat reserve") until the Black Peak. Soon transition us out at second plateau along it - the Tri wells. To the right rises Selimitsa peak ( 2041 m ) .
After the plateau is a sign that shows difficult to distinguish path to Kladnitsa village . A little later reaches the small shelter "Sedloto" built at the foot of the homonymous peak ( 2108 m ) . From here to the Black Peak takes about 40 minutes. Initially goes in the high plateau , but the last part is a steep climb . If you decide to take this transition in winter you must be well trained and equipped , and to get the most reliable information about the weather, conditions change very dramatically in the highest parts of Vitosha.
