Route Kumata hut - Boeritsa hut ...

The tourist route from the hut " Kumata " in the tourist complex " Boeritsa " hut to "Bor"hut is relatively light and short , suitable for novice hikers and nature lovers of all ages. It is part of the high path that passes through some of the most spectacular areas of the capital. The route has two options , the first is covered in 30 -ish minutes while the other takes about an hour . In each case , however, the transition is nice and light , giving the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the mountain without strain much.

In both versions of the route , the starting point is hut " Boeritsa ." The hut itself is located in the southern part of the area Boeritsa . It can be reached in about an hour from Zlatnite bridges as far as traveling regular line of the Sofia public transport. Other possible starting points are metropolitan districts " Vladaia " (2 ½ hours ) and " Kniajevo" (3 hours and a half ), and the paths are well marked and identifiable .

From the hut lies to the north and after about 15 minutes passes hut " Boeritsa " ( 1691 m ) and then enters the pine trees and a wooden bridge crosses a river stone ( moraine of the last ice age ) , descending to Golden Bridges . The trail runs along the recreation area with small fountains and reaches the junction , which split routes hut " BR " hut "September" and district " Kniajevo" and this hut "Bor" .

Hence began climbing while crossing the ravine smokestack , then the route turns through pine forest , passing under the impressive black rock. Then crosses a small stone river and leads to the crest of the hill Balabana where you can enjoy the gorgeous views .

The second option begins the same way as the first , but after hut " Boeritsa " no shortcuts and climb Black Rock .
