Price: The starting point of the route Sofia quarters "Seslavtsi". Until 1978 it was a village , and then is connected to the region " Kremikovci ." It can be reached by regular bus and about two kilometers from the neighborhood is Seslavtsi medieval monastery "St. Nicholas ."
The route is mostly well-maintained dirt road. Unfortunately along the route still visible enormous heaps of waste from the mines in the area and, of course , especially in the metal "Kremikovci ." Nature has gradually deleted traces of human extremes.
The trail gradually climbing to the crest of the mountain Sofia through many long loops passing through a portion of which could be saved through goat paths, although the slope is quite steep. If you pass the first time on the track , you need to be very careful because there are many mountain roads and paths that can deceive you to deviate from the right path.
When the track out of the ridge must orient mark ( relatively recognizable and frequent ), which shows the way to the hut " Murgash " and the eponymous peak ( 1687 m altitude ) . To reach the peak Goten ( 1294 m ) must deviate from the mark and take the fork to the peak Ilchina mound located on the lateral rib.
Ilchina meadow is almost unknown to tourists , but very beautiful peak which offers wonderful views of the Western Stara Planina . Planning for a deviation to the peak of the mountain Sofia Goten could be the remains of the former prophylactics , just before that you should take the path that led to the summit for about ten minutes .
Goten also offers a nice view that seamlessly makes travelers forget about the remains of human grandeur , which are encountered at the beginning of the route. It should be borne in mind that the weather in the area of Mount Murgash (respectively Goten ) is changing rapidly and it is quite possible to get into the center of an unforeseen storm. So , take precautions in advance and read the weather forecast from a reliable source.
The descent to the city Buhovo becomes recognizable and well marked path. The whole transition takes about 7-8 hours , so you have to leave early, especially in the hot months , as the area has no natural water sources and requires more breaks .
