Selimitsa Hut

The chalet is located in the " Lenishtata " area on the southwestern slopes of Vitosha under vruh " Selimitsa " ( 2041 m.) The building is situated at an altitude of 1305 meters . It was built in 1930 and over the years has been repeatedly repaired . Last update of the hut was in 2011 .

A massive two-storey building with a total capacity of 20 seats , which are divided into seven bedrooms. The hut has electricity and water . In winter the heating is done by solid fuel stoves or ovens electricity. The hut has a tourist canteen and restaurant with a wide range . During the warmer months , visitors can enjoy an outdoor terrace equipped with tables and benches. Near the inn has parking spaces for motor vehicles . In 2011 built a new pillar marking in yellow and black, which goes from hut " Selimitsa " towards " Chuypetlyovo " and " Yarlovo ." For fans of winter sports and is located near a ski slope and ski lift " Selimitsa ." The hut is managed by the Tourist Association " Krakra Pernik " - Pernik.

Starting points are the city and the village Kladnitsa . From Sofia to reach the hut in the neighborhood " Kniajevo" for about 3.30 hours or during the " Golden Bridges " - 2.00 hours . From the village Kladnitsa way to the hut can be reached in just over 1.00 hours .

Interest in this part of the Vitosha represents Kladnitsa monastery " St. Nicholas ," which stands the hut to 0.15 hours walking . Hut " Selimitsa " is the intersection of marked hiking trails that lead to the huts " Ostritza " - 1.00 hours and "Edelweiss" - 2.00 hours , and shelter " wild bull" - 1.30 hours .
