Revival church "St. George "is the largest active Orthodox church in Sozopol. It was built in 1860 and named after one of the most venerated saints in the Orthodox Church. St. George was a soldier and military commander during the Roman Empire, and died a martyr and defender of the Christian faith at the beginning of IV century building of the church "St. George " is a pseudo -basilica apse .
