Silver Reserve is an incredibly rich and beautiful nature area in northwestern Bulgaria. It includes natural areas around Lake Silver and Natural Sciences Museum. Silver biosphere reserve is located within walking distance of the title Bulgarian village and is located 16 kilometers west of the Danube town of Silistra and 2 km south of the river Danube. According to one legend, the name comes from the incredibly beautiful scenery in the area of Silver Reserve, which occur at night under a full moon.
