The beach is located ten kilometers north-east of Varna, on the territory of the resort it. "St. St. Constantine and Elena "is the oldest resort on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast. Appreciating the exclusive location of the area, its healthy climate, its rich biodiversity and, of course, especially its excellent beach, Bulgarian state began its construction back in 1908, initially covering only the immediate vicinity of the monastery "St. St. Constantine and Elena ".
The beach is long and at times its width exceeds one hundred meters. The sand is fine, quartz-based and incredible softness. Due to the many hours of sunshine sea water here is excellent temperature even at night, and suitable for sunbathing season lasts from early spring to late autumn. The sea is calm and shallow, no dangerous bottom tanks and whirlpools.
The resort is developing rapidly over the years. A curious detail is that in 1933 there was found grape healing station, which attracts many wealthy ladies of Western Europe. Following the imposition of the socialist regime its name changed to "Friendship" and this name is used in everyday vocabulary today. In that time, he has gained fame extremely popular summer tourist destination. Within the resort is located, and University Botanic garden area of 360 acres.
