Ecopath Yagoda village - Stara Z...

The starting point of this tourist route is the village of Yagoda ( Malgizh municipality , province Stara Zagora) . Departs from the bus station in a peaceful area , which has nearly 3,000 people. Yagoda territory was inhabited since ancient times , due to its excellent location and numerous mineral springs.

Getting more specific data on the village from the time of Ottoman rule in the Bulgarian lands when his name is Chinakchii . In the years between the liberation and mid-twentieth century it was renamed the Upper Panicherevo . Perhaps the biggest attraction on the path is Dragon cave hole. From there the trail goes down to the village Zmeyovo ( Stara Zagora) , near which was built a comfortable place to relax with a fountain. Then the route climbs Chichekbair , which is the highest point on the route and from there go down to the end point Stara Zagora and Lake Zagorka .

In fact, Zagorka is not a natural lake , but artificially created body of water located in the park " Bedechka " in the northeastern part of Stara Zagora. Around it is 670 years old plane , which is also attractive to tourists attractions. Zagorka lake attracts locals and visitors to the city , especially during the hottest months .
