Thracian cult complex in Chetinyova Mound found and excavated by Georgi Kitov in 2000, is the largest ever found Thracian royal mausoleum complex. Tomb-heroon, called by Georgi Kitov "temple" impresses with magnificent wall (krepis) of stone blocks with a parade staircase entrance and religious site. The entrance is marked by slabs of plastic and colorful decoration. The interior space is huge (Ø 4.80 m) circular dome camera with semi-pillars and flower decorations. On the north side of the temple is buried rock bath for production and storage of wine. It has an oval base and a thick coat. When excavations were found inside containers for drinking wine and strainers. 30 meters south of the domed building, found "cenotaph - an empty grave, and around it in three separate pits rich gifts - gold ring craft, horse trappings, weapons. Mound "Horizon" is the only tomb in Thrace-heroon a colonnade. And while elsewhere columns are one or two - this number reaches 10. The columns are Doric capital in the early style. And in this heroon was buried representative of the Thracian aristocracy. Although the tomb was robbed in antiquity, found silver and gold objects speak eloquently to the rank of the buried. Ritual "Dionysus" is presented to the Thracian cult temple and is connected with the purpose of the church and which were ancient "wine". The wine was a major part in the Orphic rites. Through fire and wine priests foretell the future. Under the sign of wine are passed and the noisy celebrations in honor of Dionysus. The ritual is performed upon request in the tourist information center - Hissar.
