Price: Kamchiya dam is located along the river Kamchia in the eastern part of the mountain , outside the municipality of Pomorie. Was put into operation in 1973 and is part of the group of the largest volume of water reservoirs in Bulgaria with a volume of 233.55 million cubic meters. Its water level by Rivers Luda Kamchia, Kotlenska , Glogova , Neikovska , Icherenska, Medvenska and Sadowska . Its waters provide drinking water to the city of Bourgas, Pomorie. The dam is a meeting place for fishing , and here are found the following fish species : roach , bream , perch , morunash , goby , catfish, bleak, carp. Be careful here though fishing is permitted as of the other reservoirs in the country , sometimes prohibit it entirely , so check in advance to avoid being fined .
Kamchiya dam is located to the left of the road when traveling from Burgas towards Shumen. On the north side of the ponds are situated villages Manolich and Vezenkovo and the south is the village Podvis . The dam , on the road Karnobat Shumen , built hut " Dam Kamchiya ." It is a two storey building with a bed capacity of 47 beds. Tourist sites are close hut Varbishki Pass ( 7:00 ) hut Kamchia (8 hours). Besides fishing , the area of the lake offers numerous leisure , recreation, picnic . Away from the urban environment here can enjoy the peace and quiet and peaceful .
