Historical and archeological reserve "Sboryanovo" covers territory in the western part of Ludogorsko plateau along the river Krapinetz between the villages Podayva and Sveshtari in Isperih. It is a unique complex consisting of settlements, shrines and cemeteries of antiquity. So far in the reserve are recorded over 140 archaeological sites from different historical periods. The most interesting objects are Sveshtari, Demir Baba Tekke, a Thracian fortified city and the sanctuary Kamen Rid village in the area Byuven kasaba.
The most significant discovery in the territory of historical and archaeological reserve "Sboryanovo" is Sveshtari Thracian royal tomb. It was opened in 1982 during excavations № 7 of the Eastern necropolis of Sboryanovo (Ginina mound). It was built in the first quarter of the third century BC. and a unique monument of the Thracian tomb architecture.
Thanks to its remarkable architecture and artistic decoration Sveshtari the list of World Cultural Heritage List in 1985
The place which was built in the early seventeenth century Demir Baba Tekke, was sacred to the inhabitants of this region different tribes and peoples over 2,000 years before its construction. Of the many buildings survived only turbe (tomb) of Alian saint Demir Baba. While maintaining rock altar and the entrance to the courtyard of Demir Baba Tekke. The place is open for visits all year round in daylight hours. Until it can be reached by paved road, utilities and staircase hall, starting from the parking lot of the hut "Ahinora" in Sboryanovo.
Gath Helis capital is another important object of the reserve "Sboryanovo". Helis was fortified Thracian town built in the last quarter of the fourth century BC. an area of 100 acres. To the site can be reached by well-maintained asphalt road connecting the villages and M. Porovets Sveshtari and crossing the reserve.
Kamen Rid rannokamennata era sanctuary built by the Getae Thracian tribe to offer sacrifices to the sun god. To the site can be reached on foot along a wide dirt road running from the parking lot outside the hut "Ahinora" in reserve "Sboryanovo".
Another interesting object in the area of the reserve is the early-medieval settlement in the area Byuven kasaba. It represents an ensemble of carved and poluvkopani residential, industrial and commercial buildings. During the studies was a small chapel. Excavations are still going on.
From 1 December to 17 March Sveshtari Tomb doesn`t work with tourists. During the remaining months works from Wednesday to Sunday from 9:30 to 16:30. The fee for adults is 10 leva included talk. Visit other sites is free.
