Price: Ecopath " In the footsteps of Zahari Stoyanov" starts from the village Terziysko ( Municipality Troyan, District Lovech) . Its length is relatively short , travels for approximately 1 hour , there is a low degree of difficulty. Suitable for hiking in all seasons , but is most preferred from early spring to late autumn. The track is completely avoidable for beginners , older travelers and groups with small children.
The endpoint of the eco-trail is a place where the famous Bulgarian writer and revolutionary Zahari Stoyanov was captured by the Ottoman authorities after the defeat of the April Uprising ( 1876 ) . Can still be seen the remains of the hut in which the author of "Notes on Bulgarian Uprisings" was arrested trying to hide from his pursuers . The place is a monument and placed dashboard .
The trail is extremely light , and it gives the tourists a few places for recreation. This makes it suitable for pleasant and relaxed family outings . From the area in which it is captured Zahari Stoyanov, with splendid views of the surrounding mountain peaks. It is good to spend more time on that route, because , though not particularly popular as a tourist destination has Terziysko very rich history and culture and has a lot to see there .
The village is situated at the foot of the Balkan Mountains , 12 km from Troyan and 40 of Lovech. Its particular location ( not as usual in a valley and the ridge of the hills ) , allows you to enjoy the amazing panoramic views of the leaders of the Balkan Mountains and Vassiliovska Mountain - the highest point of the region .
The most traditional for Terziysko craft is pottery . Until two decades ago in the village there were two workshops for pottery, as part of the production is exported abroad ( even across the Atlantic ) , but now they do not work. However, some potters have workshops in their homes and you can get a beautiful , functional vessels , which skilful hands of the masters have given individuality and inspired its own spirit .
Ecotrail " In the footsteps of Zahari Stoyanov" is designed for fans of the wonderful time in nature, without having to make great physical effort. It allows you to focus on the surrounding beauty and feel the caress of the mountain , not harsh nature that lies in its higher parts.
