Price: You could say that Trigrad Gorge is one of the most amazing places you could visit at home. This is one reason why this landmark is one hundred national tourist site of the Bulgarian Tourist Union. It is located 2 km north of Trigrad. Trigrad gorge is impressive in size and shape. For most visitors, the gorge seems scary, but it fascinates with its grandeur. The road from Devin to Trigrad passes through a picturesque gorge above the river. In places the river is lost in the depths and appears again. Trigrad gorge was declared a protected area in 1963. To get to the gorge from Devin to Trigrad should follow the curves of river to its sources. The road will allow you to enjoy the incredible natural scenery and landscapes - towering over the river rock cascades and picturesque meadows.
One of the most interesting places near Trigrad gorge is precipitous cave "Devil's Throat" with its incredibly beautiful 42-meter waterfall that flows down into the cave and is one of the highest in Europe. Very interesting and also accessible to tourists Haramiyska cave which is located in rock crown against the Devil's Throat. There are remains of houses from the Neolithic period, and today models are made of people who lived there. Access to it is only possible with special equipment and guide.
