Evksinograd beach

Evksinograd beach lies within the sea capital Varna. It is extremely beautiful, tucked away in the northern part of Varna Bay in Sea Park and is protected from the north winds, which makes it attractive to tourists. Part of it is located within the former royal residence Evksinograd and open to the public from ordinary citizens, but remained outside its borders space could easily be used for sunbathing.

Undoubted qualities of the area are assessed before liberation and settled here a lot of people who enjoy the wonderful climate and curative mineral springs. Later Prince Alexander I Battenberg built his summer residence at that place. It was originally called Sandrovo (from Italian diminutive form of Alexander - Sandro), but after coming to power of Ferdinand I, his wife Marie-Louise renames Euxinograd. Her decision is a game of words combined in himself the ancient Greek name of the Black Sea (Pontos Evksinos; Hospitable Sea) and means "hospitable town."

For a number of reasons, the choice of the name at the moment seems a bit cynical, as the main part of the beach of the residence is surrounded by a ten-foot wall and is fully available for the general citizen. However, the free part of Evksinograd can enable you to sunbathing in a quiet location, although you are in the sea capital. The sea is warm and calm conductive to quiet moments plucked from everyday reality.
