Fanagoria

Ethnographic complex Proto-Bulgarian village is Fanagoria the unique operating open-air museum in the country.

The complex is a copy of proto pitched battle of 6-8 century and includes wood firewalls with battle towers, equipped yurts, acting craft workshops, restored antique costumes, weapons, household items and furniture. Formed a square with a temple, shamanic and Khan yurts, shooting and a platform for viewers.

The construction of Stage II of the complex, which will recreate the most authentic atmosphere in the first Bulgarian capital from the VIII century

Visitors are offered guided tour, visiting yurts and antique center, archery, information leaflet and a host of souvenirs - copies of antique objects. The evening program also includes very interesting and dynamic horse show, recreating the proto celebration of horses and the young warriors. You'll see a high riding, horse stunts, fight training, predictions of the shaman and his prayer to the ancient god Tangra. You'll see antique clothing and weapons, will take pictures with Khan's throne and the participants in the show.
