Galata beach

Beach Galata is located at the foot of the cape, which rises in the northeast corner of Avren plateau in the southern part of Varna Bay. It can be reached by stairs, descending through a forest of the southern part of the neighborhood "Galata". Unlike most beaches in the territory of the sea capital, it is a very quiet place where you can relax from the city noise.

Relatively small and rocky, it is a favorite place for lovers of solitude and crystal clear seawater. Located about seven kilometers from the center of Varna, Galata beach is not dirty or built and predisposes to recreation in nature, although in fact be located in the second largest Bulgarian city. The beach is inaccessible because it does not lead to an asphalt road and is therefore preferred by lovers of nature and recreation nudists.

Compared to most other local beaches, this sub Cape Galata is rarely visited. However, it offers a sense of comfort as it is surrounded by high cliffs that seem to isolate it from the rest of the world. It had no food and was unguarded. For these reasons, you must carry everything you need with you and watch out for the safety of your children, if you come to them.

Galata, however, is suitable for any lover of pleasant sunbathing away from noisy places that gather thousands of tourists. Crystal clear water, soft golden sand, the opportunities for camping, excellent fishing, shellfish harvesting and water sports, make it one of the last pristine places almost on the shoreline of the sea capital. If you are not a fan of camping, you can stay in one of the small hotels in the neighborhood "Galata" where there are a variety of restaurants, pubs and nightclubs.
