Baba Vida Beach

Baba Vida Beach is located near the fortress, keeping the memory of the glorious and tragic both years from the end of the Second Bulgarian Kingdom. It is most popular within and near the district town and attracts hundreds, sometimes thousands of visitors during the hot months, when people look cool and the level of the river is relatively low.

Beach is covered with fine sand which maintain cleanliness in the municipal service decent care. The beach is guarded, the safety and tranquility of its visitors are supervised by two professional rescuers and two medical professionals. They are also appointed by the Municipality of Vidin and work all day from 10 am to 18 pm every day during the summer months.

The location is preferred by both vidin people and guests of the city, especially during the big heat, which are traditional to the city in July and August.
