The starting point of the hiking trail village Yarlovo ( Samokov , Sofia District) is located about 40 kilometers from the capital, at the southern foot of Vitosha Mountain , east of Verila. On its territory and in the vicinity are a number of natural , cultural and historical attractions . Passes through the village Palakaria river that springs from the foot of Vitosha Mount Kupen ( 2,108 m above sea level) , the endpoint of the route.
