Yasna Polyana is a 40 km from the center of Burgas to the south and 12 km from Primorsko. Its name derives from the birthplace of Russian writer Leo Tolstoy. In the early 20th century in the village lived Tolstoy fans group who maintained correspondence with the writer. In 1998 the village was opened museum "Bulgarian Yasna Polyana", in which two floors of exhibits are the life and activities of Tolstoy fans. The exhibition is located in the library building and attracts tourists from all over Europe.

Every year the village is held Symposium sculpture in wood, which was founded in 1983 and attracts artists from Japan, France, Italy, Germany and others.

Yasna Polyana is situated at the foot of the Strandja Mountain and is surrounded by forests. Along the village runs Devil River, which is the main source of water for dam Yasna Polyana.

From the center of the village to the lake can be reached in about an hour on an asphalt road. It runs along a large meadow on the outskirts of the village with a small pond in the middle. After pond asphalt road turns right. You can choose the path that goes straight south and is shorter. After clearing the route enters the forest. The reservoir can catch mainly carp and “taranka” and the area around the village is a favorite spot for hunters.

Each year the celebration of Constantine and Helena in the village you can see the fire dancing, in the spring - mummers. Nearby are Ropotamo Reserve and Petrova Niva. Try the local delicacy "Strandja grandfather" who is prepared for Christmas and "mature" until Easter.
