The tourist route starts from the hut " Pascal " , located on the vast alpine meadow at 1470 meters altitude. It was built in 1930 and at that time only in the central part of the Balkans.
From " Pascal " to Chernivit route follows a path in the northwest , heading to Tabiyata ( Kosishki Pass ) . Almost at the beginning of the transition to the northeast the trail marked with pillar marking that leads to the main ridge , which goes 300 meters west of Kositsa peak (2000 m). From this place one can continue to chalets " Benkovsky" and " Mountain Springs " .
The route climbs Kositsa and continues east to Pascal peak ( 2029 m ) , it shortcuts the south side , passing through rocky terrain. By Pascal heads to the northeast , but only after twenty minutes getting to nameless peak located at the southern foot of Mount Card ( 2034 m ) . East of it is a small saddle from which leave trails bog area and huts " Mountain Springs ", " Benkovsky" and "Vejen" (east ) , hut " Momina Polyana" and Divchovoto village (municipality Republic , Lovech , of north) and the village of Anton ( Anton municipality , province Sofia) .
In the saddle is placed a plaque on which route hut " Momina Polyana" leads to the north , following a clear paint marks and pillars . The trail surrounds peak maps from east and descends steeply through terrain covered with stones, shrubs and juniper berries to the saddle , located immediately south of Mount Mominski chukar .
There is also an important tourist " Crossroads" - the north down to Divchovoto village in east direction to go summer huts " Benkovsky" and "Vejen" and to the west is the route we follow to hut " Momina Polyana". Walk up the wide , frequently marked trail , descending through pine forest to the hut .
During the descent to " Momina Polyana" route passes through the "Boatin " - one of nine reserves in the National Park "Central Balkan". It holds huge beech plantations , some of the trees are older than two centuries and are 40-50 m high . One of the symbols of the reserve Ural owl , brought to the Balkan Peninsula during the last glacial period.
The trail is relatively easy , travels for about three hours and a half. However we should not forget that the route crosses the main Stara Planina ridge and each transition it requires us to act with due caution.
