Route Yavorov hut - Melnik

The route from the hut " Iavorov " to Melnik requires experience in mountaineering . Depending on how you divide the time , the route can be divided into three or four stages.

The first is the worst , pass through the highest parts of the Pirin Mountains. You have to climb from the hut to the summit of Pirin Suhodolska river valley along shelter Bunker Suhodolski ridge to the peak (2500 meters altitude ) . Here , the trail continues climbing to the peak of Bayuvi Dupki ( 2821 meters ) and reached the shelter "Koncheto" .

Walk south along the ridge , passing through Mount Banski Suhodol ( 2884 m ) and reaches Koncheto . After that the route is directed to Kutelo peak ( 2908 m ) , shortcuts and it reaches the saddle Premkata. Hence descend steeply to the hut "Vihren" in Kazan.

The second phase of transition begins hut " Vihren " goes southwest , climbs the cracked stone and follows the left bank of the river Bunderitsa . It goes past Muratovite lakes, then comes the steep climb Banderishkata port which offers a great view of the circus Big Spano pole. The trail descends to Spanopolski lakes crosses the eponymous river and passes the shelter " Spano pole" . Hence goes the foot of Mount Arnautski cemeteries (1997 meters) , the route takes the dirt road crosses the river and reaches Mozgovitsa hut " Kamenica " .

The third stage of transition continues to the northeast of the hut marked trail . Serpentine shaped climbing the steep slope of the saddle Solishteto then starts gentle descent along the river Golenskata . It reaches old dairy farm near which there are several good sources . Then the trail enters a dense pine forest through which runs about 3-4 miles. The track comes out in the open area three rivers. Here the route splits hut "Pirin" (30 minutes) and Melnik ( 7:00 ) . You can stay overnight at the lodge and leave the final part of the transition to the next day .

Fork goes south , passes through Lopovo place and crosses the forest road from village to village Sugarevo Pirin . Then continue straight and onto a dry valley with pyramids , where the trail joins the main road to the village Rozhen. Pass through it , past Rozhen monastery and continue to mushroom Melnik , where it descends into the valley of Melnik River and reaches the town .
