Tsarska Bistritsa Palace is located just outside the resort of Borovets in RILA mountain. It was built between 1898 and 1914, and at first it was used for hunting lodge of Ferdinand I and Boris III. In 1944 was od″ržaven, but a few years ago the property was again returned to the Royal family.

Currently there are allowed visitors on Thursday, Friday and Saturday and a fee of 5 euro for a local guide will cost you around the King's private quarters and will tell the story of the Palace.

The Cabinet of Ferdinand represents the Interior of the ship kapitanska cabin. According to legend, the furniture was won by the monarch.

On the walls throughout the hut are hung hunting trophies. Men in the Royal family were quite keen on hunting, and the forests of RILA mountains are rich in diverse game.

Reserved is the authentic furnishings of the bedrooms of the two duchesses hope and Eudokia, with the beds of wrought iron, stoves and accessories kahlenite small, characteristic for the decoration of a ladies ' room. Although the entire Palace has dozens of glazed-tile stoves, all are different in the decoration.

In a small vestibule can be seen an old Persian rug, which was a gift of the second wife of Ferdinand-Eleanor from the Shah of Iran. In the living room of the Palace are the ceilings of wood carving, courtesy of tryavna, koprivshtitsa and local craftsmen. Again-you can see great Jewish candlestick-menorah, a gift of Boris of the Jewish community in the country.

In the entire Palace can be seen electric stoves for heating produced by Siemens in 1912, which is still functioning.

The power plant, which supplied the Palace with electricity is produced in 1912 with parts of Siemens. She and today operates in its original appearance, and even the local people say that fed electricity to the resort of Borovets .

The Park around the Palace is extremely beautiful and orderly. Very rare tree species is collected here – King Ferdinand had a hobby to young trees of rare species of the places in the world that is visited.

In the mansion flows the River Bistrica, which has tamed and terraced, a few jumpers and lanes around it predispose for romantic walks. In the main building there is a café.

Close to the resort "Borovets" and to "Palace Tsarska Bistritsa" are two more sites-summer residence "Sitniakovo" built under the project of architect. G. Fingov in 1904 and the hunting lodge "Saru puddle".
