Price: Dolni Tsibar is located on the banks of the Danube, in the municipality of Valchedram Montana. It is one of the largest in the region, as there are more than fifteen hundred inhabitants. Near the village are the remains of the ancient Roman fortress Tsebrus on which there have been no serious archaeological research.
North of Dolni Tsibar in Bulgarian waters of the Danube, is Ibisha island, which is declared a reserve. He is known to locals as Tsibar and is of great interest in terms of nature lovers, especially with regard to numerous rare and listed in the Red Book of endangered or threatened species. In the fullest extent this applies to the impressive diversity of waterfowl, including the endangered globally Spoonbill (Platalea leucorodia), Eurasian Oystercatcher (Haematopus ostralegus) and Pygmy Cormorant (Phalacrocorax pygmaeus).
The beach of the village of Dolni Tsibar is quiet and relatively spacious for the size of the Danube coast. Here you can find many secluded spots in which to stay calm and relax in the beautiful, unspoiled nature. You should be aware that the band is not secured, and the spring freshet of the Danube each year changing the topography of the bottom, so it is important to be extremely careful, especially if you have small children or are not confident in their swimming abilities. However, if you are careful, you can spend excellent, without fear for the health and lives.
Near the beach, on the Danube quay is nice and cozy little place where you can hide from the heat in the hottest summer days to enjoy the tranquility or fun with friends. Access to the beach is very easy as the road from the village you can reach only a few meters from the beach. The view from here is very beautiful, especially at night when the river is dyed by the sunset, and her passing tourist, cargo ships and fishing boats.
