Kamburov inn

Kambourov inn was built around the middle of the XIX century and named after its owner Stoyan Kambura who participated in the uprising Captain Grandpa Nicholas ( 1856 ) , in Hadzhistavrevata Buna ( 1862 ) and was a member of Elena's revolutionary committee. The inn is a cultural monument of local importance .

Architecture Kambourov Khan is expressive, simple and concise - for example Balkan Renaissance architecture. Wide eaves, stone masonry , cut with props , patina wood planks in the second floor and sparing use of white plaster - all these components of the architectural image successfully complement and contribute to the impact. The inn was formerly located in the village Yovkovtsi , but due to the construction of the dam " Yovkovtsi " he dismantled and moved to a new location in the city of Helena - architectural complex " Daskalolivnitsata ." Today the inn is arranged ethnographic exhibition showing the daily life and culture of the population of Elena region in the late XIX and early XX century.
