Gradishte area of which has start eco-trail is located 3 km northeast of the town of Gabrovo. It is dominating surrounding plateau peak at an altitude 680 meters and provides a wonderful view of the crest of the Central Balkan Mountains and the valley of the Yantra . That is why even in Roman times there existed a powerful fort , guaranteeing power of Shipka Pass.

The starting point of the eco-trail is the House of Humor and Satire , located on the street " Bryanska " 30 in Gabrovo. Joyful House, known as the institution of numerous friends appear in its showrooms and keep the funds thousands of exhibits, preserved the spirit of humor and carnival traditions of the Balkan city.
