Jundola

Jundola is located 16 km from Velingrad. It can be reached by road from Velingrad to Bansko and Razlog. The area is a large meadow about 3 km long and 1 km wide. The name of the place comes from the Turkish word "jundol" which means "wool market."

Jundola is suitable for winter and summer tourism. The resort has ski slopes equipped with ski lifts.

The slopes of the forest area are covered with juniper trees and mountains Rila and Rhodope area protected from strong winds.

Clean air and climate are favorable prerequisites for the implementation of climate-therapeutic procedures. Better respond to respiratory diseases (including asthma), diseases of the renal vascular system, nervous system disorders, allergies, endocrine diseases.

The resort offers educational-experimental forest, many holiday homes and chalets.

Tribes have winter stadium (center ski long run) and tourist facilities.

From Jundola go hiking routes to the peak Belmeken in Rila and Chernovets peak in the Western Rhodopes.

The entire area surrounding tribes is extremely picturesque. Near the resort are Rogachitza reserves and mill Filibishka meadow terrain and Chernovets Kurtovo, sports facilities "Belmeken" natural landmark, Pashovi rocks.

The Information Centre for Small Business in Velingrad offers tourist information service. Opening hours: weekdays from 8 to 18 hours and on weekends from 9 to 17.
