Price: Monument of Borimechkata - rebel from Klisura, fell victim in the April Uprising in 1876, dominates the historic town. The author of the monument's sculptor is Metody Izmirliev.
Borimechkata real name is Ivan Tankov. His heroism and sacrifice were praised by Ivan Vazov in his landmark novel "Under the Yoke" and immortalized in the paintings of the famous Bulgarian artist Zlatyu Boyadjiev.
