Lyaskovets is located 10 km northeast of Veliko Tarnovo, 2 km from the town of Gorna Oryahovitsa. Lyaskovets is a place that will enchant you with comfort and relaxation, with a sense of eternity and traditions. Here is the only museum of its kind dedicated to horticulture and gardening.

In XVIII century the local people first in the Ottoman Empire began to be involved in the production of vegetables - potatoes, tomatoes, okra, zucchini, peas, eggplant, carrots, peppers. Despite distrust and amazement of his countrymen, they quickly found a market for its products in Europe and laid the foundations of Bulgarian vegetables. Many gardeners from Lyaskovo worked abroad.

The total exhibition area is about 500 square meters, has two halls and outdoor shed. The garden is mounted life-size wooden cupboard for horticultural irrigation. Internal exposure includes extensive material and documentary material, flags of horticultural companies Lyaskovets and surrounding villages, clothing and jewelry items brought from abroad, the currency of the countries who have worked Lyaskovets, photographs showing horticultural work, original themed books whose authors are Lyaskovets etc.

Focus of the exhibition is a plaster model of bahcha (vegetable garden), which gives the most accurate picture of the organization, for equipment for handling and distribution of activities in a vegetable garden. The museum can be seen more than 600 original objects. After winning project of UNDP Capacity 21 - The Museum is open for tasting attraction center and conference hall with 50 seats, which organizes various exhibitions and cultural events. The museum relies on weekends.
