Dramatic Puppet Theatre "Ivan Radoev " - Pleven is State Institution with funding from the Ministry of Culture of Republic of Bulgaria and Pleven Municipality . As a professional theater has existed since 1919. Has its own troupe of 26 actors and 3 people directors.

Since 1998 at the Drama Theatre "Ivan Radoev " was opened puppet department, which is the length of the fruitful tradition of defunct Pleven Puppet Theatre.

In the genre theater is broad - poses from classical drama to contemporary plays. Annually makes about 10 new plays and plays about 200 shows.

The repertoire includes traditional theatrical titles , experimental performances, seeking various forms of performing together various art forms .
