Zlatyu Boyadjiev House Museum

House of Plovdiv Revival physician Dr. Chomakov was built between 1862-1865 year. Outside, she impresses with strict symmetrical architecture, while the inside is magnificent and solemn , with a huge staircase , rich grace: ceiling and massive chandelier .

When the daughter of Dr. Chomakov give it to the Ferdinand for his residence in Plovdiv , architects redevelopment of his taste. Later , in the 20s of the 20th century , the house was used for orphanage orphans whose parents died during the war. To 1980 was completely renovated and restored and accepted Children Department of the National Library .

Since 1984 Chomakovo house became a cultural monument of national importance and hosts a permanent exhibition " Zlatyu Boyadziev " which is a legend in Bulgarian painting. Perhaps the most distinctive Bulgarian artist , his work is divided into two periods , having paralyzed his right hand and began to paint with his left. Before the incident, he emphasizes the landscape , while the second period is characterized by grotesque education and expressive color . Among his most famous works are " Village Brezovo ", " On the table ", " Two Weddings " . Exposure itself is over 70 artist's paintings , mostly of his second term .

Zlatyo ( more Zlatyu or Zlati) Boyadziev was named Hero of Socialist Labor , winner of the highly prestigious " Vladimir Dimitrov the Master ."

The majority of his work is a gift to the museum house after his death in 1976.
