Rezovo

At the mouth of Rezovska river, which runs the state boundary with Turkey, a dozen kilometers from the village Sinemoretz is the southernmost point of our country - Rezovo. Rezovo is one of the most magnetic, while secretive places in Bulgaria. This resort is different from everyone else on the Bulgarian coast. What makes it unique is the limited availability of construction and nature. Rezovo currently remains one of the few places along with Durankulak where you can relax away from the hustle of the big resorts. Evenings are quiet and calmness, no crowds on the streets. If so then you understand vacation Rezovo is your place.

On the nose Kastrich, situated 3 km north of Rezovo, are the remains of a small castle with a rectangular plan (20 to 30 m). Perhaps this is the famous medieval fortress Kastrition. In this region there are burial mounds.

In the past, the village is often changed their position because of constant attacks by pirates Caucasian (creep). Today Rezovo was settled in 1903 and immediately built a new church "St. St. Constantine and Elena ". This was indicated by the icon "Halloween" by the late painter D. Poliksoidu, dating from 1909

North of Rezovo protected area "Silistar" interesting for its rich flora and fauna. Here you can see the preserved deposits of sand lily. To the south is the valley of the river Rezovska with beautiful rock formations and numerous rapids, passing in quiet river sections. The Bay is wintering waterfowl. Can be seen fishing in sea otters.

Visits to the village, however, become, after verification of identity documents by the Border Police. Many family hotels welcome every tourist and owners tell you with pleasure for this picturesque region.
