Peak Iglata ("needle") - a famous alpine site. Perhaps the only peak in Bulgaria that can be achieved with a conventional hiking equipment . Funds are needed for rock climbing, you can climb to the needle . The needle tip is positioned in the northwestern part of the Rila and beautiful needlepoint , glued to the southwest slope of Mount Dvuglav . Best suited shelter for peak is BAC in, then to the saddle of Orlovec and then it descends the Blue channel . Another option is Evil Prelez to the eastern side of the Tooth peak in White chute hacking at Portal Peak and thence to the foot of the Needle . There is a third option - to go from Kirilovo meadow in wild forests and rocky rapids and to reach the base of the peak. Characteristic is that even in the approaches to the Needle tip is necessary in places using alpine gear - the area is very beautiful , untouched by human presence and because of this his character that makes him extremely handsome. Western wall of the Needle is a 150 -foot vertical granite slab on which there are several routes of high category. Another very beautiful climbing route is the famous South summit ridge , 400 m long goals when getting off the tip of the needle used rope to rappel from the 3 wedges of MRS , which are located at the top. The peak itself is just 2575 meters high .

Return - From the Needle tip with a short 20 meter rappel down to the saddle below Dvuglav . From here to the shelter , there are two options for return :

1. By traversing the western slopes of Dvuglav in emerging wide grass is overgrown traverse and climb to the upper Blue channel .

2 .By climbing a 30 -foot rock passage directly from the saddle and out on the edge connecting Dvuglav with the Tooth peak.
