Zekiritsa Peak ( 1734 m ) is the highest peak of Lakatish Rila . Lakatish Rila cuts of the River Lakatitsa where the village Govedarci flows into the Black Iskar River . The mountain is easily accessible both in summer and winter . From its peaks can see wonderful views of the northwestern Rila and Govedarska Valley. It is free of huts , but there are many outbuildings .

There are several possible routes to the summit.

Walking route : Beginning at the junction of Vada hut ( on the way to Maliovitsa ) . From there you should take the marked trail should be marked red . The third fork is screwed right. Should climb to the top. The peak itself is manic meadow with mountain view and the high part of Rila. In winter in - most of the route going through deep loose snow that pretty fun . Summer time can pass for 3-4 h

Bicycle route : Length - 35.5 km . Summary climb - 900 m Time 4-5 hours. The journey starts in the village of Govedartsi. Goes against the river Lakatitsa asphalt. After about 9 km leads to a place called Klisurski pens. No pens . There are only barely visible foundations of some buildings. At this point you can leave the pavement and turn right before the bridge . Moving is not very steep dirt road and reach the saddle Lazho . Here the roads diverge - north of Klissura village , west of the village Saparevo , you are in the south and up to the region of Vada hut hut Hunting . From here to Mt Zekiritsa the route is very busy areas. It goes past the peaks and Razhana Tsvichila and locality Hanged-man rock. At T- junction you turn left ( to peak Zekiritsa remains quite small) . If you turn right you will reach Vada hut , but the last few hundred meters to the hut dug and are very uncomfortable ride . From the peak Zekiritsa with splendid views Maljovitza part of Rila . Immediately after the tip should leave the broad and clear road and go on the road with grassed track . Travelling to the pavement leading to the hut Vada is very technical and very pleased . It descends on the asphalt back to the village of Govedartsi .
