One of the most interesting tourist sites in Sliven is Sliven house lifestyle. Museum House "Sliven life" was built in the first quarter of the nineteenth century, one of the oldest neighborhoods of Sliven - Kaftandzhiyskata. It is a model of residential architecture from the years of the Renaissance - open symmetrical house with a verandah. Actually it is two houses stuck together. Much that was built first, known as the house of Patkoolu but smaller and later as Arnautkinata.
In 1963 Patkova house was converted into a museum, which is open interior exhibition recreates Sliven artisan home from the nineteenth century. Presents hundreds of unique items, indicating the development of weaving, copper, pottery, carpentry, saddlery (manufacture of saddles and harness accessories) and others. And basic household practices and traditional requirements during the Renaissance. Patkoolu House was declared an architectural and artistic monument. Sliven House Museum beaten by the early twentieth century, or Arnautkina house was opened in 1969 and shows bits of Sliven city family in the early decades of the twentieth century. Exhibited are Bulgarian and imported furniture.
